This morning as mist drifted in from the west creating a ring of light around the rising sun.

I observed two babies too afraid to venture out from their safe place in the long grass take their first courageous flight to their mother the other side of the water as I waited this morning. They couldn’t be convinced to leave the nest yesterday, but today… What a difference a day makes!
