The sun emerged from the mountain, highlighting the changing colours of the red cliffs as it ascended at the start of a beautiful sunny day.

Here on the hill in 1802, Explorer Matthew Flinders mapped this area so accurately his maps were published in 1814 and used until the end of WW2 and botanists painted the red cliffs.
