Have you hit rock bottom?

I’ll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I’ve swallowed. I remember it all – oh, how well I remember the feeling of hitting the bottom…. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope:

God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
It’s created new every morning. How great your faithfulness!

I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.

God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks.

It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God.
It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times.

When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence.
Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear.

Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.
Lamentations 3:19-30

These words are pure Bible, see how relevant it is. That’s because every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another – showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. 2 Timothy 3:16 MSG

The Bible itself explains why people who aren’t Christians can’t understand truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means. 1 corinthians 2:14

But The Bible contains the answer to every problem you will face both now and forever if you have a personal relationship with Jesus.

When you accept Jesus as your personal Saviour, God’s Holy Spirit becomes your constant companion, teaching you the right way to go and illuminating God’s Word and making the Bible come alive!

Happy is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding.
Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly. Proverbs 3:13, 18
