When God Names You...

God will always remain close unless we decide we don’t need Him. His thoughts towards us outnumber the grains of sand – that’s how great His love for us is:

Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!
God, I’ll never comprehend them!
I couldn’t even begin to count them—
any more than I could count the sand of the sea.
Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!

Psalm 139 The Message

As we recover from the horrors of 2020 and look towards a new start, God reminds us that He is our help.

God is a safe place to hide,
ready to help when we need him.
We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom,
courageous in seastorm and earthquake,
Before the rush and roar of oceans,
the tremors that shift mountains. Psalm 46

No matter what trauma has crossed your path this year, if you align your thoughts with the way the God of the Universe sees you, then you will begin to move in the rhythms of God’s plan for you.

If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 The Passion Translation (TPT)
