Once A Christian Always A Christian?

This is a lie the devil uses to make people comfortable in their sin.

God gave us all free will. He can keep us, but it our choice if we want to be kept.

He could have kept Eve but she chose to eat the fruit, just like we choose the cross and repentance over the world and sin.

Many of Paul’s letters talk about the war between the flesh and the spirit and how you must die daily through fasting, watching and praying. If we were once saved always saved we wouldn’t have to worry about spiritual warfare or fighting off our carnal ways.

Jesus said take up YOUR cross and to WORK your own salvation with fear and trembling.

THIS IS NOT SAYING WE ARE SAVED BY OUR WORKS BUT YOUR WORKS ARE A REFLECTION OF YOUR HEART, and the Bible says a tree is known by the fruit it bares.

The bible says men look at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. You better wake up all you “comfy Christians”

The devil wouldn’t be roaming the earth like a lion and tempting you if you was saved and couldn’t lose it no matter what. Grace works but it is activated by repentance which is a turning away from sins. You can’t live in sin or be in sin and die and go to heaven. When you choose sin you choose to turn your back on the cross.

For all of you who believe in once saved always saved….if you were right I would still go to heaven, buy if you are wrong(which you are) and I am right you might not make it to heaven. I compel you by the power of the holy spirit to humbly pray and ask God to show you truth. Conviction and condemnation are two different things and repentance is a choice. God bless.

Some of you on here trying to make the scripture mean what you want it to mean.. But the truth is if you wanted to walk outside right now and fornicate or steal or kill you could. You have free will. You could say I don’t want to be saved anymore and I want to go back to sleeping around and drinking and living contrary to the word of God. Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. Living right is a reflection of your love for God, but it wouldn’t be love if you didn’t have free will. If God made you obey it forced you to that would not be love..it is love because we have the free will to choose to serve God.

Some of you try to look deeper into the bible when it is plain and simple and truth is looking you right in the face. Don’t let pride or ego block you from the truth. God bless you. Love you all regardless.

From Marcus Rogers

“Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come. Matthew 24:13-14 The Message
