Your Protector, Saviour & Friend is waiting...

With never ending talk of lockdowns, the pandemic, wearing masks and people sadly dying it’s easy to become side-tracked and to loose sight of all we have as Christians.

God spoke to me this morning as I stopped and looked at the perfection of all that was around me as I waited for the rising sun…
Silence reigned across the wetlands after the ducks had finished greeting each other, excited to spend another day together in this picture perfect location to capture the rising sun.

This morning as I watched this mumma swan standing guard over her two little ones while they foraged unaware of possible dangers that may be lurking. They were safe in the security that mum was near so they didn’t have reason to fear.

Ah, safe and happy! I thought to myself how fortunate these little ones were…

But as my thoughts lingered I thought, don’t we have that same protection? Aren’t we as Christians supposed to be that secure?
Understanding our future is secure,
And God constantly watches over His beloved,
That He even knows the number of hairs on our head and that angels protect us whereever we are?
So, why when trouble comes, do we doubt that He has our backs?
That we are in the shadow of the Almighty?
That He rejoices over us with singing?
That at the right hand of the Father He pleads for each one of us?
That, though innocent, He died to save us so we can have life eternally with Him?
We are His own!
We’ve been bought with a price!
His Comforter is with us and ready to help as we do His will?
Embrace His ever present care for you.
We only falter when we turn our eyes off Him and no trouble that comes our way will ever been too much to handle.
Satan will not permeate God’s shield of protection if we, like these little signets, fully trust that God is who He says He is, that He knows all about us and He cares enough to want to help and that He will never let us down!

God also reminds us:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Matthew 6:26-27 TPT

And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33TPT
