What does the Bible says about.....

ITSELF:
Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another – showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. 2 Timothy 3:15-16 The Message Bible

The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road. Psalm 19:7 MSG

GOD:
Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD our God is holy. Psalm 99:9 NIV

For there is no other God but me — a just God and a Savior — no, not one! Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other Isaiah 45:21-22 NLT

MAN:
God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. Genesis 1:27 MSG

Then the Lord God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; he breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live. Genesis 2:7 GNT

They are my own people, and I created them to bring me glory." Isaiah 43:7 GNT

HEAVEN:
I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.” Revelations 21:3-4 NLT

Some would question whether the Bible is actually the Word of God, stating its just a book of fairy tales. If the Bible is as they say, banning it in at least 52 countries makes no sense to me.
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:27 NLT

SIN:
It is true that through the sin of one man death began to rule because of that one man. But how much greater is the result of what was done by the one man, Jesus Christ! All who receive God’s abundant grace and are freely put right with him will rule in life through Christ. Romans 5:17 GNT

There’s nothing wrong with God; the wrong is in you. Your wrongheaded lives caused the split between you and God. Your sins got between you so that he doesn’t hear. Isaiah 59:2 MSG

Everyone has sinned and is far away from God’s saving presence. Romans 3:23 GNT

HELL:
In flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 NLT

And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelations 20:15 NLT

JESUS:
- What was prophesied about him:
The Lord says, “Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient times.”. Micah 5:2 GNT

She will have a son, and you will name him Jesus – because he will save his people from their sins." Now all this happened in order to make come true what the Lord had said through the prophet, 23 “A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and he will be called Immanuel” (which means, “God is with us”). Matthew 1:21-23 GNT

The angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. "I bring you good news of great joy for everyone! 11 The Savior — yes, the Messiah, the Lord — has been born tonight in Bethlehem, the city of David! Luke 2:10-11 NLT

- What he said about himself:
I and the Father are one. John 10:30 CJB

Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6 NLT

- What he did while he was here on earth:
Then he took a loaf of bread; and when he had thanked God for it, he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” After supper he took another cup of wine and said, "This wine is the token of God’s new covenant to save you — an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you. Luke 22: 19-20 NLT

He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds! 1 Peter 2:24 NLT

The Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating. Colossians 1:14 MSG

But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were healed! 6 All of us have strayed away like sheep. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the guilt and sins of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 NLT

- But that wasn’t the end of Jesus …..
And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. He said, “Peace be with you.” … Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it’s really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don’t have bodies, as you see that I do!" Luke 24:36,39 NLT

The first thing I did was place before you what was placed so emphatically before me: that the Messiah died for our sins, exactly as Scripture tells it; 4 that he was buried; that he was raised from death on the third day, again exactly as Scripture says; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 MSG

FAITH:
Yet I never shrank from telling you the truth, either publicly or in your homes. 21 I have had one message for Jews and Gentiles alike — the necessity of turning from sin and turning to God, and of faith in our Lord Jesus. Acts 20:20-21 NLT

So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NLT

Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! 9 We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! Ephesians 2:8-9 MSG

LIFE:
Jesus replied, “I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3 NLT

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. John 3:16 NLT

Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your law. I am but a foreigner here on earth; I need the guidance of your commands. Don’t hide them from me! Psalm 119:18-19

Some don’t accept that the Bible is actually God’s Word, preferring to believe that its just a book of fairy tales…. but if that’s true, why is it banned in at least 52 countries around the world?

My personal relationship with God has shown me that the Bible is relevant and up to date, containing the answers to every question I have about life.
