Was Jesus Just A Man Or Is He God?

If you know nothing about Jesus this is a great place to start.

Who is Jesus?
Who do you say that I am? – Matthew 16:15-17
What does the Bible say?
About the man – 1 Timothy 2:5
His Birth – Luke 2:7
His Life – Luke 2:52
His Death bringing us the chance for a New Life -
One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.2 Corinthians 5:14

The Bible also tells us He is:
Son of God – John 1:18
Even God Himself – John 1:1
Jehovah The Saviour – Matthew 1:21
Everlasting Father & Mighty God- Isaiah 9:6
Emmanuel, meaning God with us – Matthew 1:23

So is Jesus man or is Jesus God?

He’s both – Colossians 2:9 & John 1:14

He lived a perfect & sinless life – Luke 2:52

And Died on the Cross to take away our sins and save us from the curse of sin (death) – Philippians 2:8

He died on the cross to save us…..
but because He was the true God, it was impossible for death to hold Him – Acts 2:24

After 3 days He resurrected to become a life giving spirit – 1 Corinthians 15:45

Now Jesus can come into our spirit and give us the Eternal life of God – 1 Thessalonians 5:23

The eternal God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t grow tired or become weary. His understanding is beyond reach.

He gives strength to those who grow tired and increases the strength of those who are weak.
Even young people grow tired and become weary, and young men will stumble and fall.

Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.
Isaiah 40:26-31
