In the beginning ...

Before the mountains were created, before you made the earth and the world, you are God, without beginning or end. Psalm 90:2 NLT

Is there anyone else like him? Look up at the sky! Who created the stars you see? The one who leads them out like an army, he knows how many there are and calls each one by name! His power is so great – not one of them is ever missing! Isaiah 40:25-26 GNT

When I look at the sky, which you have made, at the moon and the stars, which you set in their places – what are human beings, that you think of us; mere mortals, that you care for us? Yet you made us inferior only to yourself; you crowned us with glory and honor. You appointed us rulers over everything you made; you placed us over all creation: sheep and cattle and the wild animals too; the birds and the fish and the creatures in the seas. O Lord, our Lord, your greatness is seen in all the world! Psalm 8:3-9 GNT

You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created. Revelation 4:11 NLT

Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor? Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge or showed him the path of understanding? Isaiah 40:13,14 NIV

The Lord Almighty, has this to say:

“I alone am God and there is no one else like me. From the beginning I predicted the outcome; long ago I foretold what would happen. I said that my plans would never fail, that I would do everything I intended to do.” Isaiah 46:9-10 GNT, Isaiah 44:6 GNT, Isaiah 43:10

The Supremacy of Christ
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. Colossians 1: 16 NIV

He was in the beginning with God. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn’t make. John 1:2-3 NLT

How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! Psalm 147:5 NLT

…. And He’s always near:
I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night — but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.
