Find Your Purpose!

Do you wake up every morning wishing you didn’t with no clue to why you are here?
Do you easily do some things other people can’t do? Finding your purpose is easier than you think!
There’s only one of you, uniquely designed with special purpose in mind!
You are designed to be awesome but how can you be awesome if you don’t know what you’re meant to do?
Albert Einstein said “Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree it would spend its whole life believing it is stupid!”
Finding the path you were mean to to walk, living the way we’re designed, brings passion, excitement and a reason to get up in the morning. So what is that special plan for you?
Why are you here? Have you discovered your purpose yet?
Without connection to your Creator you won’t discover your true reason for being and at the end of your life you will have no peace about what will follow.
In your search, first know about the one who created you. About Himself, God says this:
“Previous to me there was no such thing as a god, nor will there be after me.
I’m the only Saviour there is….“Yes, I am God. I’ve always been God and I always will be God.” Isaiah 43:10
God, the one who created you is the only God there is, so searching for your destiny with other ideologies or paying homage to idols created by another man is certain to leave you empty.
So where does Jesus fit in?
God sent Jesus to earth specifically to free us from our failures and give us life we could otherwise never experience. Why was the cross necessary?
Because we fail each time selfishness gets in our way and we find it impossible to be the person we know we should be…
Jesus presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him. Romans 5:8
God’s plan is for us to accept the help Jesus offers. Once we accept Him as our personal saviour He begins to upgrade us from the person we are into the person God plans for us to be. The longer we hang around God, the clearer our purpose becomes. How do we hang around God? By reading His Word, talking to Him and letting Him speak to us, being obedient when He asks us to do something. He will never ask us to do something we can’t do and we need to be pliable so He can transform us. That’s what being a Christian is all about – getting rid of our ‘self’ and becoming like Him.
Then God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving.
Then we can step into the plan He designed us for – the reason why we are here and we no longer need to wonder who we are, why we’re here and what happens next – that’s the best part:
He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do. Ephesians 2:7-10
You weren’t put on earth to be remembered, you were put on earth to prepare for eternity!
Rick Warren
God uses broken people like you and me to help rescue broken people like you and me.
Because…
A wicked person who turns his back on that life of sin and keeps all my statutes, living a just and righteous life, he’ll live, really live. He won’t die. I won’t keep a list of all the things he did wrong. He will live. Do you think I take any pleasure in the death of wicked men and women? Isn’t it my pleasure that they turn around, no longer living wrong but living right—really living? Ezekiel 18:22-23

Living the life God designed for us with Him leading each step of the way not only brings joy and fulfilment but it assures us we will live forever with Him in heaven as our reward for becoming His family. There are only so many tomorrows.
