Who Is Jesus?

The words Billy Graham speaks are straight out of the Bible.

The following words are some of what He said for those who can’t watch this video but I urge you to click on the link below and hear him for yourself.

Jesus, Who do you say that He is?

Before time began, He existed

Before Abraham was, He said ‘I am God’

Was He who He claimed to be? The Son of the living God?

His birth didn’t mark His arrival, He always was.

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, the Bible teaches.

He was God made flesh.

He taught us a revolutionary way to forgive, 70 × 7 if necessary.

It’s not the outward actions that God judges but our inward thoughts and intents.

He said Moses said in the 10 commandments, “Do not commit adultery”, but I tell you that if you even look at another woman to lust after her you have already committed it!

He said Moses said “Thou shalt not murder”, but I tell you if you have hate in your heart for another brother without cause you’re already guilty.

He lifted man’s ethics to the highest plain and demanded that kind of a life from us.

Jesus Himself lived that kind of life.

All the evil in the world comes from the human heart. Our heart has got to be changed.

Jesus said “We must be born again”.
We must be converted. We must have a new beginning, and He can do it!

They had three charges against Him to crucify Him.
They said:
“This man loves sinners” that was one charge
The second, “He healed on the Sabbath day”
And the third – “He claimed to be the Son of God”

Was He the Son of God?

He had power over nature!

When he woke in a boat during a storm and by his word He calmed the sea.

He had power over nature because He’s the God of nature. Those are His laws, they obeyed Him when He spoke the words, “Peace, be still.”

He had power over disease.

He made the dumb to talk, the blind to see, He raised the dead!

He had authority over demons

Jesus confronted demons time after time and He could cast them out, and people insane under the power of demons regained their sanity.

And then look at the death He died as the earth shook and the thunder roared.

And when He said “It is finished” He meant God’s plan of salvation for us is now complete.

Even the soldiers who crucified Him said ‘Truly this was the Son of God’

Watching this message from Billy Graham has made me love Jesus even more.

This is not a black man’s God or a white man’s God, He belongs to the World!

The Bible says this of Jesus:
He (Jesus) humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!

Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!

The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honour to God, his Father! Philippians 2:8-11 The Passion Translation (TPT)
