Can The God of the Universe be my Guide?

The answer is yes, but for this to happen, we need to believe that He exists and accept that Jesus died on the cross for us. The Bible says:

Then I let it all out; I said, “I’ll make a clean breast of my failures to God.” Suddenly the pressure was gone – my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared. These things add up.

Every one of us needs to pray; when all hell breaks loose and the dam bursts we’ll be on high ground, untouched. God’s my island hideaway, keeps danger far from the shore, throws garlands of hosannas around my neck.

Let me give you some good advice; I’m looking you in the eye and giving it to you straight: “Don’t be ornery like a horse or mule that needs bit and bridle to stay on track.” God-defiers are always in trouble;

God-affirmers find themselves loved every time they turn around. Celebrate God. Sing together – everyone! All you honest hearts, raise the roof! Psalm 32:5-11 MSG

Once a relationship with God is established we just need to ask HIm what to do:
If you need wisdom — if you want to know what God wants you to do — ask him, and he will gladly tell you.

He will not resent your asking. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. James 1:5-6 NLT

Let us have confidence, then, and approach God’s throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it. Hebrews 4:16

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. John 3:16…

You may not know much about God but He knows all about you and this Almighty God of the Universe longs for relationship with you. He will guide your every step just like He does with me if you ask Him to. He offers both forgiveness for your past and guidance for your future – life with no regret. With childlike faith, just like speaking to anyone else, all you need to do is ask!
