Worthy is the Lamb

“Don’t look for short cuts to God. The market is flooded with sure fire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practised in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do.

The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention. Matthew 7:13-14 MSG

Worthy is the Lamb by Darlene Zschech…

Now it is a rare event when someone gives up his life even for the sake of somebody righteous, although possibly for a truly good person one might have the courage to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners. Romans 5:7-8

For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam), many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the other man (Jesus), many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

Therefore, since we have now come to be considered righteous by means of his bloody sacrificial death, how much more will we be delivered through him from the anger of God’s judgment! For if we were reconciled with God through his Son’s death when we were enemies, how much more will we be delivered by his life, now that we are reconciled! Romans 5:9-10

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; John 11:25

Jesus:
“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. Revelation 5:9
