Jesus’ death was no accident, it was God’s way of bringing justice for all. His death was planned from the beginning of tim when Adam failed to do what God wanted and sin was introduced into the world. And Jesus always knew why He was here – to conquer evil once and for all!

Jesus, this sinless son of God, was tortured to set us free. But how can this story be prettied up without hiding what Jesus went through?

“It was not the people or the Roman soldiers who put Jesus on the cross – it was your sins and my sins that made it necessary for Him to volunteer His death.” ~ Billy Graham

Jesus didn’t just die on the cross, He died for you
Every drop of His blood was shed for you
Every step, every humiliation, every strike, every whip, every mocking, every piercing nail. You were always on His mind.

This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:28

WARNING:
This video is graphic in its portrayal of the suffering that Jesus went through in the lead up to his death on the cross as shown in the movie – The passion of Christ.
