Easter Morning

This beautiful video recreates the Bible’s account of what took place when the women came to Jesus’ tomb only to find He was no longer there.

Angels greeted them to announce that this Jesus whom they love who was dead is alive again.

Jesus appeared to many after He rose again: Here is the account of Thomas, one of Jesus’ disciples who wouldn’t believe Jesus was alive again without proof:

One of the disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin ), was not with the others when Jesus came. They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. THE DOORS WERE LOCKED; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them.

He said, “Peace be with you.”

Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”
“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me and believe anyway.”

Jesus’ disciples saw him do many other miraculous signs besides the ones recorded in this book.

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and that by believing in him you will have life. John 20:24-31 NLT

Christians are a new race. They mystified the pagans. They knew what was never known on earth before.

The Lord’s resurrection had taken place.

Christ was risen from the pit of death, made mockery of the silly seal of The Roman Empire upon His tomb. But Jesus broke something far mightier than a waxen seal of a world-power.

He broke the power of death.
